Who we are
CC Counselling & Art Therapy C.I.C. (“CCCAT”, “we”, “us”) is a Community Interest Company providing counselling and art therapy services in Berkshire and the surrounding areas. Our website address is https://cccat.co.uk. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
What we collect and why
Contact form
When you send us a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the type of enquirer you are (for example, individual, school, or organisation), and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to carry on the conversation you started with us. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest: you have contacted us and expect a reply.
If you email us directly, we hold your email address and correspondence in order to reply and to keep a record of our conversation.
Technical data
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use analytics or advertising tools, and we do not track you across other websites.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for visitors browsing the site. Cookies are only used if you log in to the site’s administration area, which applies to our team rather than to visitors.
Where your information lives
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our email accounts, which are provided by Google Workspace, and a copy is stored securely in the website’s database. Our website is hosted in the United Kingdom by Krystal Hosting Ltd. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which they are deleted. Information relating to therapy services themselves (such as referrals and clinical records) is handled separately from this website, with its own confidentiality and record-keeping arrangements which we explain to clients directly.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to ask for a copy of it, to have it corrected, and to ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@cccat.co.uk and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
